  We think: tinting power, dispersion, processing and heat resistance are the main indicators to determine the application performance of organic pigments in plastics, in this paper, a series of experiments on the coloring force, dispersion, processing and thermal properties of organic pigments and other indicators of the determination and characterization of a preliminary exploration, and the domestic part of the pigment and foreign similar products were compared.

  The heat-resistant properties of pigments are the characteristics of the color variation of the pigments and the plastic in the case of heat, and the main factors affecting the heat resistance of pigments are their chemical structure, molecular polarity, molecular weight, or some chemical reactions when heated and other additives occur.

  There are many ways to evaluate the heat resistance of organic pigments, this experiment uses in the injection molding pigment color board (pigment content 0.4%) process, the material respectively in 200 ℃, 240 ℃, 260 ℃, 280 ℃ under the Injection machine screw storage section retains 5min after the color board injection, through the high precision color measuring instrument to the color plate color test, with 200 ℃ under the color parameters as the benchmark, compared with other temperature in the injection of small color changes, namely, chromatic aberration, and compare domestic products with foreign products.
